Morning Star Mine Road is a lot of fun to ride down, but is somewhat boring in the uphill direction. With a speed limit of 55 miles per hour, traffic on this road is fast and demands that a bicyclist remain attentive.

It's not a really busy road, but it is probably the busiest in Mojave National Preserve. It's best ridden during the week when traffic is lighter.
